YOUR GUIDE ROBI
YOUR GUIDE ROBI
Robi is a born leader and a passionate guide, it might be because of his German roots.
Born and raised in Germany he started exploring the world as a teenager.
His snowsports career started in Austria in 2004 where he got the highest level of instructor, and started guiding through the Alps with his German ski guide certification. With spring kicking in he would change his ski's for his mountainbike, guiding guests weeklong transalp enduro tours.
Six years later Robi & Fleur moved to Canada where he worked as a Ski guide and freeride coach. While living here 4 winters in a row he finished up the Canadian skiguide level 2, Avalanche operations level 1, and a 80hour first aid course. In the fall and early winter months of 2016 he returned to Canada to certify for the Canadian Avalanche operations level 2.
In summers it's all about the mountain biking, mountainbike guiding or working as a bike mechanic on several high class bike destinations in Europe. And than the off seasons are being used to surf some sweet surf breaks.
The winter of 2014 couldn’t stop him from going where the snow was on it’s best and become
a powder snob in Japan, where he was and is guiding through overwhelming deep powder,
off piste and back country adventures.
Living the dream!
